Stunning views from the sea view rooms.

During my week-long stay, the food was disappointing. Although the buffet options were plentiful, many dishes were overcooked, especially the vegetables. I was also surprised to find a lack of basic amenities in the room, such as quality toiletries that one would typically expect from a four-star resort. There were no bathrobes or slippers provided until I requested them, which felt quite inconvenient.

The stunning side sea view room provided a memorable backdrop for a great stay. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional, featuring a wide variety of delicious dishes. However, the pool was surprisingly cold, which was disappointing, especially in summer. Additionally, the outside smoking policy made it difficult to enjoy the peaceful evening atmosphere.

The outdoor pool is far too cold for comfort!!! Access to the beach is strenuous for anyone with mobility issues!!! Both the air conditioning and lighting paths require immediate improvement!!!

A cozy stay with friendly faces

Waking up to the fresh scent of breakfast filled the air. The staff always greeted us with smiles, making our mornings brighter despite the AC issues.

The air conditioning in our room was unreliable, leaving us a bit uncomfortable at night. However, the welcoming atmosphere almost made us forget about it!

We loved our stay with the stunning sea view and the spacious, clean room. The dinner selection was excellent, with varied and delicious choices. The pool area was a perfect spot to relax.

The hotel provided an excellent environment for business, with a spacious work area and reliable high-speed internet. The staff was attentive, assisting efficiently with meeting arrangements and equipment needs. The on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu, ideal for network dinners, and the breakfast spread was particularly impressive with fresh pastries and a variety of options to fuel a productive day.

Room amenities were somewhat limited.

The ambiance is super relaxing, perfect for unwinding by the pool with a drink. The huge outdoor pool was a great spot for sunbathing. We also loved the evening entertainment, especially the live music. Every night felt like a mini concert while sipping a cocktail on the terrace.

The Standard Double Room was super spacious, and the mattress was comfy enough for a good night's sleep. I really liked the design, especially the bathroom setup with an interior door that kept the noise down. The shower had excellent pressure and always hot water, which was great. However, the air conditioning struggled a bit. it didn’t keep the room as cool as I’d hoped. Overall, it was a nice space to unwind after a day out.

The Portobay Blue Ocean (Adults Only) features beautifully designed common areas that are easily accessible for seniors, with bright colors and comfortable seating throughout, making it a welcoming and inviting environment to relax and enjoy.

More shaded seating areas by the pool would help.

Great place for a group vacation! The room was spacious, and we loved the daily breakfast options. Don't miss the outdoor pool and the tennis courts! Just a heads up, the bar service was a bit slow at times, but overall, it was a fantastic stay.

One downside was the fluctuating water temperature in the shower, which was a bit annoying. Just keep that in mind when you stay.

The stay was enjoyable with beautifully designed areas and a relaxing ambiance. The large outdoor pool was perfect for sunbathing. The breakfast options were diverse and delicious. I appreciated the quick access to the beach. Overall, it was a refreshing escape. 😊
